Why is Yahoo not reponding?

O/S Vista, IE 9.8 logging on to yahoo (my preferred for years,) it is slow to load, IE displays "Yahoo not responding" type in retry ,seconds later all ok? no, type in search text, suddenly box empty part of type text displayed. God awfull with email again MS saying no response. NOW, sorry Yahoo, Google working exceptionally quick and well, I may well migrate.............
