We went out for dinner as usual last night?

Years ago I saw a similar incident at a restaurant in Milwaukee. I felt sorry for the waitress, and left a larger tip. A year later I was eating at another restaurant in Milwaukee when the same waitress came up to me. She never forgot my kindness and insisted on bringing me and my dinner companion a free dessert. So, kindness can pay off.
